At the end of every world you will fight a boss and these are.pathetically easy and uninspired (aside from the final boss). The level design is excellent, teaching you about the game mechanics without annoying tutorials and each one has some sort of gimmick that separates them from one and another (most notably, the mine cart stages). The bonus stages are quick mini games and if you complete them all, you will get 101% completion in this game. You go from point A to point B in linear levels and with some bonus stages hidden in. GAMEPLAY: DKC is a platforming game, just like many of its era. David Wise and the team at Rare really did an amazing job with this game, both from a visual standpoint and a music and sound one, and it's still holds up pretty well. The 3D models that were converted into sprites look great, almost all of the background are excellent and the music, OMG!!!!.THE MUSIC of this game is not only memorable, catchy, classic, but it also fits with perfectly with the levels and the melodies and instrumentation is just.UMMM!! SO GOOD!. While some of the assets look made out of plastic (like the trees), the rest of the game look pretty gorgeous. PRESENTATION: Rare, the creator of the game, used an old technique of pre-render 3D graphics to great both this game and Killer Instinct, but the one that got the more attention was DKC. In conclusion, DKC is a platforming classic that everybody should try between the unintuitive saving system. You can only save after multiple levels, unlike other games on the SNES, where you can save after any level. Perhaps this game's largest problem is its saving system.
